The Kensington offers five individually designed rooms across two floors. Each room includes a 32-inch flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a selection of films and books. All rooms have large en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, hairdryers, and hospitality trays stocked with homemade cupcakes, biscuits, and a variety of teas and coffees. Some rooms feature wine chillers, and front-facing rooms overlook Columbus Ravine. Rooms 1, 2, and 3 are on the first floor (16 steps up), while Rooms 4 and 5 are on the second floor (32 steps up).

Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, with options including a full English breakfast, vegetarian and vegan alternatives, and gluten-free choices. Ingredients are locally sourced, featuring award-winning Cumberland sausages, slow-roasted tomatoes, and homemade granola. Complimentary homemade cupcakes and treats are provided upon arrival and in rooms. AZ Turkish Restaurant is directly opposite the guesthouse for additional dining options.
Location & Attractions
The Kensington is on Columbus Ravine, a 10-minute walk from Scarborough's seafront, town center, and railway station. Peasholm Park is a 5-minute walk away. Nearby attractions include Scarborough Castle (1.5 km), the open-air theatre, and the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The Blue Flag-awarded North Bay beach is within walking distance, and the South Bay features a working harbor and Scarborough Spa.
